TED-Ed Enhances Video Use

Chris Anderson, founder of TED, which promotes ideas worth sharing across various disciplines has created another beneficial platform. TED-Ed allows educators to more easily work online videos into their own lessons. Custom instructions, quizzes and assessment can be added to TED videos or YouTube videos. To aid in flipped learning a teacher could record a screencast, upload it to YouTube, then use TED-Ed to create a custom lesson and track student’s interaction with it. Very powerful and free. The TED-Ed blog explains more about this exciting development.
